HDMI Surge Protector
This SPD protects HDMI 1.4 UHD 4K@30Hz connections against lightning, electronic static discharge (ESD) and electrical fast transient bursts (EFT/B). It is placed in-between the sending device (input) and as close as possible (within 3 feet) to the receiving device (output). For example: between an AV receiver and a flat screen TV. A ground wire is installed to a nearby ground point to redirect excess current away from the device. For long HDMI cables in the walls or roof, we recommend installing this device at both ends.
